A Market Harborough Farm WEDDING

Lucy and Tom’s wedding took place on Manor Farm, which belongs to Tom’s Dad. This wedding had incredibly heartfelt speeches, vintage cars and a couple who couldn’t have been more excited for their future together.

Lucy and Tom’s wedding day took place at Tom’s Dad’s farm in Market Harborough. We were very fortunate to have a lovely summer’s day at Manor Farm. The grounds offered a playing field for a range of drone shots and the light during the portraits was absolutely stunning, just like Lucy and Tom’s wedding day.

Lucy and Tom met through mutual friends at their local Young Farmers’ Club. It was at Manor Farm that Tom proposed to Lucy, which made their wedding day even more special to them.

With great speeches, locations and their lovely family and friends, Lucy and Tom’s wedding film is one of my favourites!

KIND WORDS

Lucy + Tom

“Thank you so much for sharing our Highlight Film! We are completely blown away by your work – it has totally surpassed our expectations! We absolutely love it!

We watched it yesterday and relived the best day of our lives! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

“Lucy’s mother and I are extremely proud of the person she has become”

“Today is one of the proudest moments of my life. Lucy has, and don’t let anybody tell you any different, will always will be my favourite… daughter! Liz and I are so pleased she has found a really good man to spend the rest of her life with.

Lucy tells me Tom is kind, considerate, amusing, faithful with really nice parents; as well as being the heir to a farm… and his Father has his own aeroplane! I love flying, so I’m afraid, I was a bit of a push over when Tom told me of his intentions.

What is Tom getting in return? Lucy is looking absolutely stunning today, wouldn’t you agree? She is intelligent, hard working, dilligent, has strong values and is also compassionate. She is a good cook, and can obviously keep a very OCD Tom relatively in check. Her Mother and I are extremely proud of the person she has become, and I just hope that Lucy and Tom are as happy as Liz and I have been throughout the years of our marriage.”

Market Harborough WEDDING QUESTIONS.

I shot Lucy and Tom’s wedding day in Market Harborough in 2025, and will be returning this year in 2026 to capture another farm wedding in Eaton, Leicestershire. I am more than happy to travel across England to capture weddings that have soul, and the additional cost for Leicestershire based weddings is not that high, so if you’re getting married around Leicestershire, please reach out and I look forward to hearing from you!

I actually didn’t for this wedding, unlike most other weddings that I shoot. The sunset was pouring in through the marquee, and no lights that I own can compete with the sun! That said, I love natural light when it’s available, and the crimson sun really made the dance floor footage unique for Lucy and Tom’s wedding day.

While Leicestershire isn’t within an hour of my location in Liverpool, it’s only around additional £250 to have me travel to your wedding in Leicestershire. This covers my travel and accommodation the night before your wedding day, and ensures I’m there nice and early to capture the events on your wedding day. For Lucy and Tom, I started at the farm, capturing the drone shots that you see at the beginning of the film. If you’re having your wedding in Leicestershire, I’d love to hear from you!

Lucy and Tom were just looking for a Highlight Film collection of their wedding day. With the feedback that I received from Tom’s Dad, I think it was the perfect choice for them, and seeing as their wedding was in Leicestershire, it was a good way to keep the cost down. Tom’s Dad said, “I just wanted to say what a wonderful job you made of Tom & Lucy’s wedding video. I show it to friends with pride and the length (7 mins) is just right. You made a wonderful job of it, so I just wanted to say thank you.”

I think shooting on a farm always has its charm. I’ve captured quite a few weddings on farms, and have seen bride and grooms enter on tractors and all sorts of other quirks that farm weddings often bring. For Lucy and Tom’s wedding day, I really enjoyed capturing the portraits and the drone shots, but my favourites were on the dance floor. With the sunset pouring in, and the challenging lighting falling on people’s faces, I loved exposing my camera for the skin tones, and allowing the light to just do its thing. If you watch Lucy and Tom’s wedding film to the very end, you can see just how interesting light can be in these moments. They were also a lovely couple to work with.

Of course! Even though Leicestershire is quite far from Liverpool, I’m more than happy to visit for your wedding day! Simply visit the Contact page on my website, and get in touch! We can discuss your wedding plans, which collection would be right for you and book you in! I look forward to hearing from you!

“Words cannot describe how lucky I feel to be able to call you my wife”

“Good afternoon everyone! On behalf of my wife and I, I’d like to thank you all for joining us to celebrate our special day.

Rod and Liz, my lovely new in-laws, from the first occasion I met you, until this day, you have both been very supportive of myself and Lucy’s relationship, and our life together in Leicestershire. You have raised a beautiful daughter, and have guided her to become the amazing woman that I am now lucky enough to call my wife.

When Lucy first introduced me to her family, after a very anxious 3 hour journey to Salisbury, it soon became apparent that Liz knew more about farming than I did, and that Rod was far more up to speed with the Leicester Tigers’ squad, but nonetheless, they were very pleasant and welcoming. I can’t say that the anxiousness dwindled, as it was then suggested that we should go in the hot tub!

Six years later, I had the pleasure of asking Rod’s permission for Lucy’s hand in marriage. This went better than expected, as he almost immediately said “Yes!”… probably something to do with the farm, I don’t know… or my good looks!

Last but not least, my beautiful bride. Lucy, you look absolutely stunning, and words can’t describe how lucky I feel to be able to call you my wife. You are clever, funny and incredibly loving, and very supportive of my personal goals and dreams. I am very excited for what our future has in store for us, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
