Approach to Filming Weddings in the North West and Further Afield
I won’t be posing you on your wedding day, I’ll just be capturing things as they occur naturally. Think of me as a fly-on-the-wall. I see all things, hear all things, but you will forget that I’m there. This approach ensures that I capture the essence of your wedding day: the words; the looks; the people; the laughter; the love; and mix these ingredients together to create a modern wedding film that tells the story of your wedding day and of yourselves as a newly married couple. Whether that's achieved through the words shared in a heartfelt speech, or the reading of a loved one, I carefully digest your wedding day as a guest, then re-tell your story from my own perspective. There’s no fancy editing tricks in my wedding films that will look terrible in five years time – just solid filmmaking using the key principles of cinematography and editing. Therefore, you should see a nice mixture of light and shadows in my films, along with interesting compositions, which together with my storytelling skill set, form endearing wedding films that people can cherish for a lifetime.
Unparalleled Quality and Customer Service
Although great cinematography is about so much more than the camera that’s used, I have invested heavily in three state of the art cinema cameras to provide my clients with wedding films that are of unparalleled quality, shot through the finest of lenses that are available today. In the pursuit of excellence, I also limit the number of weddings that I shoot each year to ensure each wedding film receives the utmost care.
Award Winning Videographer based in the North West
Prior to the pandemic, I wrote, shot and created multiple corporate films for a Fortune Global 500 company (BAT), which focused on Research and Technology into smoking alternatives. I won multiple Dot COMM awards for these films, creating many of them in England, Poland and throughout Japan. This wealth of experience of creating corporate films helps me tremendously when it comes to weddings, which are my true joy. I frequently film at local wedding venues, such as Knowsley Hall, Ashfield House and Sefton Park Palm House, but I am willing to travel further afield – and often do – should you be getting married elsewhere in the U.K. I have also made commercial films and wedding films for my good friend, Philip White, who is one of the top 5 wedding videographers in the world. I created a film for Philip to announce his new role as an ambassador for Leica cameras, and I have also helped Philip produce some of his Masterclass Course, where he teaches wedding videographers how to film weddings – 2,000+ students and counting. Together with Philip, I’ve filmed weddings in some of the most luxurious venues across the world, including venues in London, New York, Santa Barbara, the South of France, Vatican City and along the Amalfi Coast too. In 2024, we will be shooting weddings together in Paris and Italy.

When your wedding has finished, and your family and friends say their goodbyes, you’ll be left with your memories, your photographs and your wedding films. Whether you’re a couple who understands the true value of a wedding film already, or you’re a couple who will realise the true value after your wedding day, there’s no question that a wedding film grows in value over time. One of the best parts about booking me for your wedding day is that you can change your collection at any time! Regardless of the Collection you create at the time of booking, I will shoot your wedding in the same way. Ultimately, I want to make you a wedding film that you will be proud to show your grandchildren, and create a range of films that will survive the test of time.
